Development tools used at one time or another include... (last updated in the early 2000s)...

• These days, having happily returned to Macs, a PowerBook
• The indispensable GNU emacs editor on Linux or Windows. With ange-ftp, great for editing raw HTML at remote sites.
• BBEdit, occasionally. Haven't really got in the habit
• The HomeSite HTML editor, a great product for those who work with HTML directly. Not used in a long time.
• Arachnophilia, a good free ('careware') alternative to HomeSite. Also not used in a long time.
• Various Dell laptops
• Until finally retired in 2002, a flawless 1996 Gateway Pentium Pro running Windows95
• In the distant past, my extinct 68040 Mac
